Alfred was just coming home from work, but only to find Arthur frantically searching around the house. "Hey dude," Alfred said, "What's wrong?"
Arthur looked over at the tall blonde with a worried expression on his face. He quickly walked over to the American and said, "I can't find (name) anywhere! I've searched all around the house, the back and front yard, and the pool shed! She isn't in any of those places!"
Alfred began to think a little, then asked, "Have you checked the storage room? She likes to go in there sometimes." He watched as the Englishman shook his head, then started walking in the direction of his storage room. When he was close, he could hear rummaging through boxes and clicking on the floor. 'She must have found a pair of her mother's old heels,' he thought before looking through the doorway.
Instead of finding (name) in a pair of her mother's heels, he found her in his old cowboy hat along with his old vest and boot. Seeing this caused him to laugh a little, which made (name) look over at him. He assumed that (name) couldn't see him for long though because the hat had fallen over her eyes. He walked in and lifted the hat off of (name)'s while asking, "What are you doing in here?"
(Name) looked up at him and replied with, "I was looking for (cat name) and I thought I saw (him/her) in here, but (he/she) wasn't, then I found all of this and wanted to see if it would fit me." She pointed to a box that had all of the stuff from his childhood and teen years in it, which was the stuff he had put aside when he stopped using them or couldn't fit in the clothes anymore. He had even forgotten about all of that until he saw (name) in all of it.
Alfred smiled and picked (name) up, the boots falling off of her feet and making two loud clicking sounds on the floor as they hit the ground. He then noticed a large, stuffed horse that he used to play with and picked it up, smiling again as he saw (name)'s (e/c) eyes lighten up. He then left the storage room, now remembering the Brit that was worried half to death was still there.
Arthur looked over as heard footsteps. He was relieved when he saw (name), who had Alfred's old cowboy hat on again, in Alfred's arms. Alfred grinned and said, "I told you she likes to go in there! Check there first the next time you can't find her!" He then put (name) down and handed her the stuffed horse so she could go and play with it.
He watched her as she played with the horse, his hat still on her head, and smiled. She had even found some string and tied it together to kind of resemble a lasso, like she had seen in many movies. Still smiling and watching (name) as she played, he sat down on the couch and thought to himself, 'Don't grow up too fast now, my little cowgirl.'
