A Young Surprise (Repost)

A small girl sighed. She didn't have any place to turn back to since she was the only one who made it out of a house fire alive. She was covered in a blanket when her mother grabbed her and pushed her out of the house. But as soon as she got off of the porch, the place where her mother was standing collapsed. That was also the time that the firemen came. They took her before she could run to her mother,  and had her sit o the back of an ambulance, checking for any injuries on her. A paramedic came back ten minutes later, and said that the girls mother did not survive. Her eyes started tearing up, and she ran off.

Now, a week later, she was sitting on a bench wrapped in her blanket. Her dark blonde hair was greasy and the curl that hung out in front of her face was really starting to annoy her. She laid down, covering herself.
She woke up the next day, and sat up. However, instead of laying on the bench, she was laying on a bed, in a room that she didn't really recognize. She was also clean, so she could run her fingers through her hair without any trouble from knots or anything.  The girl finally got out of the bed and exited the room. As she was walking down the hall, she started recognizing where she was little by little. She got to the steps and smelled pancakes and syrup, which caused her to bolt down the steps. Once in the kitchen, she saw her father, who she hadn't seen in almost a month, and immediately hugged one of his legs while crying. She also quietly managed to say, "P-papa.."

Canada, or rather known as Matthew Williams, happened to be out shopping when he spotted the girl on the bench. He recognized her immediately, picked her up while wrapping the rest of the blanket around her (to cover her back), and took her home. Once there, he felt her forehead, she had a slight fever, so he decided to let her sleep in his room for the night to keep an eye on her. When he woke up, he decided, he let her sleep and went to make breakfast. He was slightly shocked when his young daughter (she's around 4) came downstairs, about half an hour later, and hugged his leg while saying 'papa..'
